Prices of all cigarette brands under manufacturer, British American Tobacco (BAT) has increased by 30 sen.
The price hike comes into effect today, Bernama reports.
“The price revision today is to take into account the GST. The company has been absorbing the GST subsequent to its implementation on April 1,” BAT Malaysia managing director Stefano Clini said in a statement.
The revised prices are: Dunhill (RM13.80), Kent (RM13.80), Benson & Hedges (RM13.80), Peter Stuyvesant (RM12.30), Pall Mall (RM12.30) and Lucky Strike Plain (RM14.30)
