Politician angered that his poster offering free glasses turned into free bra gifts

Despite the fact that the official campaign period for the 14th General Election is still two full weeks away, one Penang-based Umno politician was wasting no time in getting to the hearts, and eyes of his constituents.

However, Umno chief Mohd Zaidi Mohd Said would have no way in knowing that his original poster, offering villagers 5,000 free spectacles over the weekend, would get doctored, and instead turned into an offer for 5,000 free bras.

Ha. Hahaha. Hahahahaha. Oh, gosh sorry – there’s a 13-year-old boy laughing inside all of us.

The poster proclaimed a 5,000 pair of underwear “giveaway”, and a different man’s head was photoshopped onto Zaidi’s, calling himself Dato Sri Ustaz Amran Noordin.

Slogans on the poster were also altered, from “jom pi periksa mata, dapat terus cermin mata” (let’s test our eyes, we’ll get glasses immediately) to “jom periksa dada, dapat terus sarung dada” (let’s go check out breasts, we’ll get bras).

Ha. Hahaha. Hahahahaha. Sorry – 13-year-old still there.

Zaidi was reportedly shocked to find the edited posters online, numbering 60 separate posts. He has since lodged a police report, and said that he hopes that the culprit will be investigated under the country’s new anti-fake news law.

Good to see the laws already coming into good use!
