Police are seeking help to identify a person who burned to death in a horrific traffic accident over the weekend.
On Saturday, a Proton Persona — driven by a 33-year-old woman — skidded towards the opposite lane and crashed into a Perodua MyVi around7.45am in Kampung Padang Kubu.
A fire triggered by the collision razed both vehicles, the New Straits Times reports, and passers-by managed to save the woman.
The other victim, however, remained trapped in the burning car and died.
“Police are seeking clues to trace the identity of the other victim in the Perodua MyVi,” Kemaman police chief Superintendent Mohd Said Ibrahim was quoted as saying.
