Following public outrage, the Royal Malaysian Police is on the hunt for a tourist who took and posted a photo of himself holding the penises of two naked local boys on a beach in Semporna, Sabah.
The photo in question depicts one tourist holding up the penises of the naked (and extremely underaged) local children while he squatted in between them.
Another photo taken in the area showed a group of Asian tourists standing in a group, with a naked local boy standing in front of them.
Semporna police chief Supt Peter Umbuas told The Star Online‘s Ruben Sario that his men were trying to determine exactly when and where the photos were taken.
“We initiated our investigations under Section 107 of the Criminal Procedure Code for nudity and carrying out an obscene act in a public place,” he said.
Chief of Semporna UMNO’s tourism committee Razak Tampi said locals were incensed at the tourists’ lack of respect for their cultural and religious values.
“Those little boys did not know any better and were taken advantage of,” he said.
