After one whole month of waiting and several false alarms, could Pokemon Go finally be releasing in Malaysia?
The answer is very likely yes, as Netizens noticed early Saturday morning that Malaysia was included in the game’s latest servers update list on MMO Server Status, along with several other new countries:
Several eagle-eyed Netizens even spotted the Malaysian server going online for a few moments earlier in the day before going off, according to The New Straits Times.
However, before you dust off your Ash Ketchum outfit and put on your running shoes, getting a server listed doesn’t mean that the game will be released in the country any time soon.
Several South East Asia servers that were listed weeks earlier, such as Singapore and the Philippines, are reportedly still offline with no official release date.
But hey, at least we’re one step closer to getting a launch date, right?
Any day now.
