The Prime Minister is expected to unveil a new Cabinet line-up tomorrow, The Star Online reported today.
Quoting a source from Putrajaya, the portal said that at least seven appointments are expected to be announced.
This reshuffle — reportedly more of an exercise to fill vacancies rather than a full-blown shake-up — may involve up to four ministers and three deputy ministers, the site reported.
On Friday, soon after announcing the sacking of two former Umno leaders — ex-deputy prime minister Muhyiddin Yassin and former Kedah MB Mukhriz Mahathir — PM Najib Razak was reported to have said that he still needed time to think about a Cabinet reshuffle.
The last Cabinet rejig happened in July last year, which saw the axing of Muhyiddin as Najib’s deputy.
