Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak went straight to Twitter to pass on a message of congratulations to newly-elected Indonesian President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo.
His tweet, sent out this morning, reads:
President-elect Jokowi hasn’t replied to the tweet yet, but that’s probably because he’s busy preparing to run the world’s third-largest democracy.
… of course, that didn’t stop DAP MO for Serdang Ong Kian Ming from butting in with a tweet reminding us of our Prime Minister’s other favourite social media thing to do with heads of state:
Give the man some time. He’ll get round to it.
