Police have arrested a petrol pump attendant for allegedly groping a woman at a petrol station in Tanjung Aru, Kota Kinabalu.
According to The Star Online, the suspect was nabbed after CCTV recordings reportedly showed him grabbing the woman and groping her at 10.15pm on Friday.
Kota Kinabalu City police chief Asst Comm M.Chandra told the website that the woman had gone to the counter to pay for her fuel and asked the 27-year-old man to help her fill up her tank.
After paying, the 36-year-old woman walked back to her car when suddenly, the man grabbed her from behind and groped her before pushing her against her car.
“The woman screamed and he let her go. She rushed back inside the car and waited for him to finish filling the fuel. She was scared to come out of her car,” M. Chandra was quoted as saying, adding that the suspect was arrested after a police report was made.
