The wait is over, ladies and gentlemen!
After years of speculation, Perodua’s brand new sedan, called the Bezza, will be open for booking at all 181 showrooms starting from Saturday.
According to The Star Online, the Bezza – reportedly fully designed by Malaysians with strong support from Daihatsu Motor Company – will officially be launched on July 21.
The Bezza is Perodua’s first ever energy-efficient sedan, and it comes in five variants: the 1.0 litre manual transmission and automatic transmission; the 1.3 litre “Premium X” manual and automatic transmission; and the 1.3 litre “advanced version” automatic transmission.
“This sedan is the culmination of decades of technology collaboration and technology transfer with our partner Daihatsu Motor Co Ltd.
“It is with their guidance that we are now able to stand on our own with this ground-breaking new model and it is the sedan that fits every Malaysian’s needs,” Datuk Aminar Rashid Salleh, Perodua’s president and chief executive officer, said in a statement cited by the news portal.
The Perodua Bezza comes in six different colours; Lava Red, Ebony Black, Glittering Silver, Solid Ivory White and two new metallic colours for the 1.3L variants, Sugar Brown and Ocean Blue.
The price for the Bezza starts from RM37,300 for the 1.0L manual, all the way up to RM50,800 for the Advance 1.3L automatic model. You can check out the full pricing here.
