Just think of what a Kembara could have done.
Malaysia Airlines had to postpone the takeoff of its MH740 flight to Yangon, Myanmar, after the aircraft was hit in the belly by a Perodua Viva at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA).
The Boeing 737-800 aircraft, designated Flight MH740, was due to take off at 10.05am but had to be grounded while its passengers were transferred to another MAS aircraft. The flight to Yangon eventually took off at 10.45am.
The Rakyat Post reported that MAS said the driver of the Viva, which belonged to a vendor, had been immediately reprimanded.
MAS operations director Captain Izham Ismail said the airline’s engineers were on site to assess the damage to the aircraft.
