Perak fans lose control at Super League match

Fans of Perak FC lost control at Stadium Perak in Ipoh when they witnessed their home team lose to Johor Darul Ta’zim 1-0 during a Super League match last night.

Perak supporters started throwing objects onto the field, including firecrackers. They also threw objects at JDT supporters.

The commotion also spread through the seats of the spectators when supporters of the host state stormed at them and threw various objects, causing NSTP photographer Supian Ahmad to be struck by stones.

The incident happened when the photographer was recording the commotion.

Supian was then given immediate medical treatment by the medical team.

He sustained minor injuries.

Perak, who have never been relegated since Malaysia adopted a two-tier system, currently languish in last place with seven points after thirteen games.
