The director-general of the Ministry of Health, Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah has been forced to make a statement today regarding a social media account that is claiming to be his, and asking for donations from Facebook users.
He wanted to make clear that the user Abdullah Hisham Noor is not his account, and that his personal Facebook could be found at Hisham Abdullah, and his public profile at Noor Hisham Abdullah. The fake account no longer appears to be active on the social media site.
In a statement via his Facebook page, he added that the imposter had been sending personal messages to many social media users asking for donations, as well as sending suggestive text messages to nurses.
He asked those who had been solicited by the fake account to lodge police reports, as well as to send a formal complaint to Facebook.
Let’s be real – it’s a little more than suspiciously fake when the director-general hollers at you personally via FB for donations.
Also, what kind of weirdo wants to pretend to be the director-general of Health? Probably the same weirdo that has Ryan Gosling as their Tinder pic.
