When you’ve got money to burn, you may find yourself buying some wild stuff.

Young and rich? A 17-year-old Justin Bieber bought himself a jewel-encrusted necklace that featured Stewie Griffin, the baby character from Family Guy.

Young, in love and rich? Well, Ben Affleck allegedly bought Jennifer Lopez a jewel encrusted toilet when the whole Bennifer thing was a thing (RIP, still my fav).

More money than sense, and have your vehicle registered in Penang? You may fancy throwing around RM350,000 (US$85,000) to buy yourself the state’s most sough-after license plate, PNG 1, which is exactly what one property developer CEO did just this week to secure the number.

In total, bids on the PNG series have raised more than RM1.9 million (US$465,000) for the State Road Transport Department from 738 accepted bids.

PNG is short-form for Penang, and residents have clamored over the opportunity to get their very own piece of the state on their car.

Meanwhile, some of us are just sitting here, waiting for our C1BA1 plate-dreams to come true.
