Nineties icon, ultimate associate of the red swimsuit, four-month-long wife to Kid Rock, animal lover and current-day alleged “close friend” of Wikileaker Julian Assange, Pamela Anderson, has turned up on Malaysia’s radar.
Two days ago, she tweeted at Air Asia CEO Tony Fernandes, and … thanked him for his ethical treatment of animals.

Not nearly as salacious as we were hoping, but wholesome, and we’ll take that.
In this month’s edition of the airline’s in-flight magazine, Travel3Sixty, a full-page ad from one of Ms Anderson’s favorite charities, PETA Asia, can be found, reminding pet owners to spay and neuter their pets.
Ms Anderson added that she “hopes to fly with you soon!”
Pam. Pammy. Do you know about Air Asia? You sure you know what you’re in for?
We’ve seen the pics of you on yachts on the French Riviera. Remember this?

Ok. Well, these are more Air Asia’s vibes.

Their tagline is “now everyone can fly!” and while that premise might sound inoffensive in theory, in practice, “everyone” means also people who try to open emergency doors midair.
And also people who like to travel without socks, so they can maximize their foot airtime, in your face.

It’s a lot homier than a private yacht, but we can definitely recommend the nasi lemak, remember to pre-order it. Also, the hot seat is totally worth it.
