A foreign worker was killed in a construction site accident that left two other workers injured yesterday.
The tragic incident claimed the life of Mondal Sujan, 32, from South Bengal who had been working on installing underground pipes at the site in Ara Damansara, the Bernama reported.
Two workers from Bangladesh — Sofiqul, 28 and Nobiur Rahman, 45 — were injured and sent to the KL Hospital for treatment.
Petaling Jaya district police chief ACP Mohd Zani Che Din was quoted as saying that the ground had given way above the workers while they worked underground.
Mondal had reportedly died at the scene.
