Yesterday evening, shoppers, evening diners, and those of us who sweat it out at Firestation gyms, were witness to the spectacular sight of a luxury Ferrari jumping the curb and crashing into a Plaza Batai bar.
Photos of the incident began to circulate online yesterday, showing a driverless vehicle near the Yellow Brick Road café side of the upmarket shopping plaza. One woman was injured in the incident, reportedly left bleeding from her face and left arm.

Nearby customers, and a doctor who was present, assisted her, and she was sent to a nearby hospital.
Eyewitnesses report that the incident occurred at 8:45pm, and claim that the man behind the wheel was a known to the establishment’s owners. Some have speculated that the man may have had too much to drink, after suddenly accelerating towards the bar, and customers who were sitting outside were forced to hastily move out of the way.
The car was later driven away.
