The weekend is fast approaching, and some of you might be dreading the prospect of spending yet another Sunday afternoon lurking trough a crowded mall, looking for an empty table for lunch. You now have an alternative – you can pig out, outdoors, at the FoodGasmFest on May 18th in TTDI.
FoodGasmFest is a one-day food festival, the first picnic-style festival of its kind in Selangor, and is the brainchild of Rock and Tulips Associates. More than 50 food vendors will be holding court at Taman Rimba Kiara, Taman Tun Dr Ismail, ranging from established names in F&B like Dave’s Deli to new startups and entrepreneurial home-cooking specialists.
FoodGasmFest will also feature acoustic performances, art exhibitions and the prerequisite bubble balloon activity booth that’s become the staple of every kitschy KL social gathering (thanks, Urbanscapes). The festivities begin at 11am and will go on til 7pm, so start fasting and be prepared to binge on … well, see for yourself:
