If you can’t escape them, bite them.
A couple from Kuching tried to do just that, but they failed miserably.
In a rather unusual incident, two policemen were bitten by a couple when they tried to take them into custody, according to The Star Online.
OCPD Asst Comm Abang Ahmad Abang Julai told the news portal that the incident happened on Sunday night during a roadblock at Jalan Matang Baru when the police stopped the couple in a Perodua Kancil.
While the police were checking the 44-year-old man’s car trunk, he allegedly started hurling profanities at them before trying to grab a lance-corporal’s HK-MP5 sub-machine gun.
Seeing that her husband was being detained, the man’s 41-year-old wife reportedly came out of the vehicle, baring her chest and dared the police to arrest her too.
When they were being put in handcuffs, the couple — believed to be drunk at that time — allegedly bit the arms of of a constable and a corporal on duty.
After literally getting a taste of the long arm of the law, they were remanded for four days and are being investigated under Section 186 of the Penal Code for obstructing a public servant in the discharge of his duties.
