Oh, those kooky fellers over at MyTeksi, always looking for a decent marketing buzz.
Durian? Did you say durian? Okay we’re sold.
Mobile cab-hailing servcice MyTeksi is offering to send a durian straight to you home for just RM1 ringgit this weekend. That’s RM1 for the durian and the delivery – so yeah, the king of fruits is pretty much free.
Tomorrow and Sunday, from 12 noon to 6pm, all you need to do to get in on the
is to have your MyTeksi app (available from the Google Play Store, Apple’s App Store, and Blackberry World, natch) and select the special #GRABdurian vehicle from its drop-down menu, and insert your delivery address.
From there on in, just wait for a friendly (and slightly dazed, from the smell) cabbie to turn up outside your house, pay the dude RM1, and get a durian. Oh, and tag @myteksi on FB/Twitter/Instagram with a picture of you and your package and hashtag #GRABdurian.
Whaaaaat?
Get those thumbs ready to work fast, though: the #GRABdurian campaign will only deliver 100 durian per day, so if you miss out, you only have yourself and your horrible data plan to blame.
