Jho Low: Perpetually top-of-mind when it comes to cherubic fugitive financiers with a penchant for the high-life; one-time bestie of Jamie Foxx; occasional Leo pal slash film financier; toucher of Gigi Hadid’s hand (wash it, girl).

Many of his Hollywood exploits have made for salacious reading, but the latest news from South Korean investigators is that Low has been named as an individual connected to the country’s largest sex scandal.
According to reports, Low was one of two Southeast Asian investors who met with YG Entertainment CEO Yang Hyun-Suk way back in July 2014, when he may or may not have also been romancing/trying to escape Miranda Kerr’s friendzone force field (spoiler: You can allegedly penetrate it with a few diamonds!).
At the time, both Low and Thai businessman Chavanos Rattakul, were said to have left the company of Yang, and gone on to a club owned by the disgraced Korean, where sexual services were purportedly on offer.
A report by Korean broadcaster MBC interviewed individuals laying claim to information of the meeting, including the women involved. Yang denied being the middleman to any sexual services.
Low’s love affair with all things Korean previously made headlines when in 2013 he brought none other than galloping bouffant Psy to Penang for an appearance at Barisan Nasional’s Chinese New Year open house.
Psy had been signed to YG, but left last year after setting up his own record label.
A spokesman for the elusive financier reached out to Coconuts KL, clarifying that “Mr Low is a friend of Psy, and through him met Yang Hyun-suk.”
However, “He was never involved in, nor aware of, any conduct of the kind alleged in the MBC Straight report.”
Now that we’ve got your attention, sir: Good times, way back when you weren’t on the run, Jho. (Allegedly!) hiding out in China isn’t Gangnam Style, buddy. Come back home. We’ll have a party.
