Nine Aussies arrested for stripping down to their underwear during M’sian F1 GP

A group of Australians thought it would be fun to be a little cheeky…until they got arrested.

Nine Australian men have been arrested for allegedly stripping down to their underwear during the Malaysian Formula 1 Grand Prix.

According to The Star Online, the group of Australians allegedly revealed their briefs, which are said to resemble the Jalur Gemilang to spectators after the race on Sunday.

The briefs were reportedly made by a popular Australian swimwear brand, which sells them for A$55 (RM174) a pair.

Sepang OCPD Asst Comm Abdul Aziz Ali told the news portal that the nine men, aged between 25 and 29, were arrested at 5pm on the same day.

“They were under the influence of alcohol.

“Initial investigation revealed that they had bought the undies from their home country,” ACP Abdul Aziz was quoted as saying.

As a result of their cheeky (sorry, we can’t help it) action, they will be remanded for four days to facilitate investigation for provocation and public indecency.

Let’s hope they keep their pants on in prison.
