Gather round, for the man who would catch a grenade for us has created a serious conflict of interest among Malaysian voters, after the day of the 14th General Election was called on the same day he was to grace a sold-out Axiata Arena in Bukit Jalil. All 12,000 tickets that were on sale for the show have been sold to see his 24K Magic World Tour.
Concert organizers PR Worldwide have posted to their Facebook group, asking ticket holders to be patient and to await an official announcements regarding the future of the show.

While some ticket holders were left hoping that the show would go on, many expressed their wishes for the dates to be re-scheduled, so that they could vote.

Many Malaysians are registered to vote in their hometowns and must cast their ballots there on May 9, despite working in larger cities, or in this case, traveling to Kuala Lumpur to see the show.
We’ll keep you posted on any developments.
