A video showing a man being violently beaten by another man using a bamboo stick has caused quite a stir on social media.
The 51-second video, which was uploaded on Monday morning by Parti Cinta Malaysia (PCM) vice-president Datuk Huan Cheng Guan, shows the victim being backed into the corner of a room as another man started hitting him violently with a bamboo stick.
After a while, the attacker is seen taking off his sling bag before continuing caning the victim’s legs as he pleaded for him to stop.
Another man wearing a yellow T-shirt can be seen in the video looking on as he appears to make no effort to stop the beating.
The video has since been viewed more than 38,000 times on Facebook, as Netizens slammed the attacker and call for the authorities to take action on the man:
Although there was no information on when and where the beating took place, Huang in the Facebook posting urged the police to investigate the incident.
