A little neighbourly spat over a parking lot escalated to a point where one of them ended up getting stabbed by the other.
In Johor Baru’s Taman Bukit Indah, on Friday, a lorry driver was stabbed right in front of his house by one of his neighbours who had confronted him about parking spaces available in front of the house.
“The argument became heated and the neighbour grabbed a sharp object and stabbed the lorry driver in the abdomen,” Iskandar Puteri OCPD Supt Noor Hashim Mohamad was quoted as saying in a report by The Star Online.
The victim had been stabbed with a parang.
“We also detained two suspects, aged 39 and 71, to assist in the investigations,” Supt Noor Hashim said.
