Seven officers from the Customs department have been charged with a total of almost 100 bribery charges.
All seven pleaded not guilty to the charges at the Shah Alam Sessions Court today, The Star reports.
According to the report, two others were remanded for six days to assist a probe into illicit cigarette and alcohol smuggling under the Anti-Money Laundering Act and Anti-Terrorism Financing Act.
Both the enforcement officers aged 30 and 41 are from Perak.
