A video is circulating online of concerned citizens following a haphazard driver along a Penang motorway who is unable to stay in his lane.
During the two-minute long clip, the white Perodua Myvi vehicle is seen swaying from lane to lane, narrowly missing on coming cars.
Finally, the individual that is recording the incident follows the wily Myvi as it goes into a ditch on the shoulder lane, and comes to a stop. The car in front has also stopped, exasperated by the dangerous driving.
The man then gets out of his car, along with the other vehicle’s driver, and quite rightly asks a discombobulated old man driving the Myvi what in good heavens he was doing behind the wheel.
The dialogue is difficult to understand; however, the video uploader claims that he found the man to be high from ketum.
Ketum is a popular stimulant leaf native to Southeast Asia. In Malaysia, it is most often consumed in juice form. Sippy sippy, trippy trippy – until the police show up and arrest you for possessive the illegal green.
Don’t ketum, guys – and especially — don’t ketum and drive.
