A woman was arrested for allegedly being the mastermind behind her husband’s murder in Taman Aneka Baru, Sungai Udang, Klang on Sept 15.

Selangor Police Chief Arjunaidi Mohamed said a 37-year-old local lady is suspected of plotting with four other individuals to murder her husband as payback.

Around 2.41 am on Sept 15, Arjunaidi said police received a call about a brawl involving several people inside a home, during which one of them was later discovered laying in a pool of blood.

“Acting on the information, a team rushed to the scene and the medical team that arrived at the location confirmed that a 41-year-old local man had died,” he said at a press conference at the South Klang district police headquarters.

According to Arjunaidi, the widow informed the police that two masked men with knives had stabbed her husband to death after breaking in via the front door.

She also claimed that the criminals looted the home and fled in a BMW after stealing designer purses, jewellery, and RM40,000.

He said an autopsy showed that the man had more than 14 stab wounds throughout his body.

He claimed that the team in charge of the inquiry discovered many things including closed-circuit television video that may be useful.

He said that four men, aged between 20 and 36, were also detained at various locations in Klang and Senawang, Negri Sembilan, following the incident, which occurred at around 10 p.m. on the same day.
