Remember that shocking case from Kedah earlier this month where a mother cut her baby into eight pieces before dumping the parts into the septic tank of her house?
The mother — Farihah Abd Aziz, 31 — has been sentenced to one year in jail, Bernama reports, for hiding the birth of the stillborn child.
She had admitted at the magistrate’s court to committing the heinous act in a house at Kampung Manggol, Mukim Malau Jitra, Kubang Pasu between 1 pm to 3 pm on July 6.
She was arrested at the Sultanah Bahiyah Hospital (HSB) wehre she was found to be bleeding post-delivery. Investigations revealed that she had delivered in her grandfather’s house and had then flushed the dismembered parts of her baby down the toilet.
