According to Bernama, a police team managed to track down the 26-year-old male MBPP staff and arrested him at 10pm.
“On May 13, police received a report from a man regarding the theft of Yamaya 125Z motorcycle in Jalan Perak, Taman Abidin, and following that, we launched an operation to locate the suspects involved,” Northeast district police chief ACP Mior Faridalatrash Wahid was quoted as saying.
He told the news agency that the man was allegedly the gang leader and had also tested positive for drugs. Two of his alleged accomplices were caught in Jelutong on the same day.
