A man who was reported missing has reportedly been found dead, with his hands and feet bound, the New Straits Times reports.
The man, identified as Yeap Sing Weng, 41, was reported missing on June 13. His head was reportedly covered with a piece of cloth.
According to the NST, the body was discovered in a drain at Simpang Empat, Sejagop in Kampung Gajah on Wednesday.
“His cause of death was due to head injury from blunt force trauma. We are still investigating the motive behind his murder,” Perak Tengah district police chief Superintendent Aziz Hassan was quoted as saying.
