Missing hip-hop dancer’s body found on Langkawi beach

The body of a hip-hop dancer has been found washed ashore in Pantai Tengah, Pulau Langkawi on Friday, according to The Star Online.

Jayden Koi Kian Boon, 21, was reported missing after a beach outing with his friends.

Malaysian Maritime Enforce­ment Agency (MMEA) northern region director First Admiral Tan Kok Kwee told the news portal that the search and rescue team found the body at 12.45pm. The body has been handed over to the police.

According to the news portal, Jayden and 16 of his friends arrived in the popular holiday island on Thursday morning.

During the time of the incident, five of them were reportedly playing on the beach when Jayden and two friends were reportedly swept away by a strong current at 1.25pm.

The lifeguards managed to rescue his friends, but Jayden reportedly disappeared from sight.

Jayden and his dance group, Red Lycans, were the champions of this year’s ‘Battleground 2016’ dance competition organised by Astro.
