Well, guys, what can we tell you? Either you’ll have to wait another year (bummer) or think of it as having more time to save up for that wedding in what used to be the Istana Negara (yay!) Either way, It girl/woman of the ages Maya Karin reiterated her stand on being single, stating for the umpteenth time – that day, we wouldn’t be surprised to learn – that no, she’s not planning on getting married any time soon.
The actress was cornered at the grand premiere of her new rom-com Sejoli last Friday. She said, “As far as 2014 is concerned, I don’t have any plans to settle down. If you’re talking about marriage, it’s not going to be any time soon. I’d much rather focus on my career at the moment.”
She added, “I can’t even tell you if it’ll happen next year. To be honest, I really don’t have a deadline for when I should stop being single. I’m letting it come as it comes – “go with the flow”, as the saying goes.”
Sejoli is directed by Osman Ali and presented by Grand Brilliance. The movie also stars Bront Palarae, Remy Ishak, Izara Aishah, Azad Jazmin, and Dira Abu Bakar.
