Markets@JayaOne will be returning for Easter

The quarterly bazaar that’s proven popular with KL’s hipster set will be making a comeback for Easter: Markets @ Jaya One will return on April 12, located at Jaya One’s new wing, The School.

The quirky marketplace will be celebrating Easter and its new lodgings at The School with themed games and specially-curated vendors, reflecting Markets’ standing tradition of highlighting local artisans and small creative startups. Among the highlights for this iteration of Markets will be an Easter Pinata, and a charity swap where visitors can trade their old (ahem, “pre-loved”) items with those from others for a nominal fee. Proceeds from the charity swap will go to Chow Kit Youth, an NGO supporting at-risk children and teens of the inner city Chow Kit district.

Among the vendors confirmed for Markets @ Jaya One this time around are Bisou Rose, hawking all-natural bath and body care products; Snackfood, purveyors of kitschy arts and crafts and furniture; Gitahola, a music school with ukuleles and and guitars for sale; and That2tattoo, which will ink patrons with temporary tattoos geared for a design-conscious all-ages clientele.

Markets @ Jaya One is on Facebook and Twitter. Check out their official site for more updates.
