The man who made a false bomb threat that grounded an international flight at the Subang Airport on Tuesday has been arrested.
According to a report by The New Straits Times, Petaling Jaya police chief Assistant Commissioner Mohd Zani Che Din confirmed that the man, who is in his 40s, has been arrested.
On Tuesday night, a Singapore-bound flight was forced to turn back at about 8pm after the airport management received two anonymous calls from a man claiming that there was a bomb on the plane.
The passengers and crew were evacuated but the bomb disposal squad found no explosives onboard. They then boarded another plane and continued their journey four hours later.
