28-year old Muhammad Hafiz Ab Rahman is still reeling from the shock of seeing his wife’s mangled body after the two of them were involved in a hit-and-run accident with a Mercedes Benz and a sand truck near Taman Segar in Cheras.
Muhammad Hafiz was sending his wife, Noor Shah Ahmad, 34, by motorcycle to her workplace in Taman Shamelin when they were forced to the right by a silver Mercedes Benz at around 9.10am yesterday.
He said he lost balance of the motorcycle after the car veered too close to them. They then crashed into the rear tyre of a lorry carrying sand and fell underneath the moving vehicle.
“Everything happened so fast. The next thing I know, my wife was lying lifeless on the road; her body mangled,” said the devastated husband.
Muhammad Hafiz told The Star Online‘s Natasha Joibi that the Mercedes Benz sped off after the collision.
Depsite the traumatic events of the accident, he is determined to keep it together for the sake of the couple’s only child, who is six months old.
Noor Shah’s body was sent to Hospital Kuala Lumpur for a post-mortem.
