A man who was sleeping on the train tracks in Machang met a gruesome end when a train ran over him.
In the 5am incident, the 29-year-old victim, believed to be a drug addict, was said to be asleep (or he passed out, we couldn’t tell) when a train making its way from Tumpat to Dabong ran over him.
According to Harian Metro, Machang Chief Police, Deputy Superintendent Dzulkifli Abd Ghani, said that they received a call from a railroad personnel at 5.50am after the train dragged the man’s body for several meters before crushing it into pieces.
Dzulkifli added that the remains have been sent to the Machang general hospital.
