A 19-year-old teenager probably had the worst day of his life last Friday when he was rammed by a motorycle…and then got extorted for money.
According to The New Straits Times, the teenager was riding his bicycle near a mosque in Kuala Nerus, Kuala Terengganu when he was rammed by the motorcycle at 6pm.
While the teen was writhing in pain on the ground, the motorcyclist reportedly left the scene only to return later with a few of his friends and demanded money from him, supposedly for damaging his bike.
The NST said the teen then lodged a report at the Gong Badak police station.
District police chief Assistant Commissioner Idris Abdul Rafar told the daily that the case was being investigated under Section 506 of the Penal Code for extortion.
