Man pulls over to aid multi-car accident, only to have his Proton stolen while he helps

A good Samaritan learned yesterday that no good deed goes unpunished, when they pulled over their vehicle to come to the aid of a multi-car accident, at km403.9 of the North-South expressway.

Stopping his Proton Perdana, the 52-year-old motorist came to help the passengers involved in the pile-up, which included an overturned bus belonging to Sultan Idris Education University, he left his key in the ignition. Soon hearing a noise behind, they turned to see a car being driven off by an unidentified man.

The Sun reports that while Hulu Selangor police say nearly a dozen were involved in the accident, all only suffered minor injuries.

In the meantime, they’re now on the look-out for the guy who stole the car of the guy just trying to help.
