Nobody would have expected things to take this turn; a man decided to kill himself after what appeared to be a minor accident along the busy Jalan Duta yesterday.
Police have ruled out foul play in the death of Ngah Yung Chen, 39, who had been travelling in his Proton Iswara when it collided with a BMW at 11am; nothing more than a fender bender close to the Duta Vista condominium, The Rakyat Post reports.
According to witnesses, both drivers got out of the vehicle to talk about the incident, but Ngah then walked towards a nearby elevated MRT structure that was under construction.
The portal reports that he made his way to the upper level after scaling the scaffolding and then jumped from the height of a four-storey building.
Police have classified the case as ‘sudden death’.
