Man jumps to his death from fifth floor of Subang Jaya mall

A businessman reportedly committed suicide by jumping off the fifth floor of a Subang Jaya shopping mall this morning.

The New Straits Times reported that security guards at the USJ19 mall found the 34-year-old man, dead in the car park at 8.30am.

It was reported that he was ‘overcome by family problems’.

“Our initial investigations suggest that the man committed suicide after being overcome by family problems. There is no evidence to suggest foul play in his death,” Subang Jaya police chief ACP Muhammad Azlin Sadari was quoted as saying.

According to the report, police  found empty bottles of alcohol as well as pills believed to be drugs at the spot he jumped from.
