Smoking kills, and trying to retrieve your lighter after dropping it in the toilet, that’s also a bad idea. A man from Taman Seri Kemuning, Temerloh, found this out the hard way last week after having his hand stuck in the loo for three hours.
Fire officials received an emergency call at 4pm Thursday after the man was unable to extract his arm after taking a plunge to save a lighter that we hope had considerable sentimental value.
The operation to dislodge his arm saw fire men saw through the toilet, and the pipe. They were able to free his arm in time for dinner.
Word to the wise, just let it go.
