Police report that they have identified the body found lying in the streets of Kampung, Tabakang, Terengganu, on Malaysia’s east coast.
Yesterday afternoon, a male in his 40s was found dead behind a house, with two bunches of bananas next to his body. Photographs from the grisly scene have since gone viral on social media, showing the man, wearing a yellow t-shirt, motionless with blood pouring from his head next to two large bunches of bananas.
Many are claiming that the man’s death was a result of having stolen said bananas from a nearby house, but no evidence or suspect has been brought forth by police to confirm this, nor a suspect named.
