A shocking attack that left a man dead at a Johor petrol station has left Malaysians speechless, after four suspects attacked the driver of a Volkswagen Polo whilst he checked the air in his tires. A video of the incident has gone viral over the last 12 hours.
Sunday night, amidst a crown of witnesses, at 7:30pm along Jalan Sri Pelangi, the victim a 44-year-old, nicknamed Ah Chiu, according to The Star, was approached by four men in a white BMV. A passenger was inside the Polo, a foreign national, believed to by the victim’s wife, ran for help.
The suspects attempted to drag the man inside their vehicle, and when he struggled, one of the men stabbed him on the left side of his chest. He collapsed at the scene. While fleeing, the suspects ran over the victim’s body twice, before throwing firecrackers at the petrol station.
Unsurprisingly, considering the number of onlookers, a video of the entire incident circulated across the internet late last night. Given the truly disturbing nature of the footage, we advise extreme caution if you want to watch here.
Police have recorded the woman’s statement, and are in pursuit of the suspects. Shouldn’t be too hard considering that the vehicle’s plates are clearly visible throughout the attack.
We’ll keep you posted as the story develops.
