A lonely-hearts, single-mother was allegedly raped by a man claiming to be a monk, in Melaka. He told her he would perform exorcisms to help find her a partner. His methods included laying pieces of paper on the woman’s body, and putting his fingers in her private areas.
The woman, who is from Cambodia, was reportedly raped 3 times: twice at a temple, and again at her home. Intimidating her, he claimed that he would put a hex on the woman if she told anyone. She eventually lodged a police report, and the man was arrested.
