Police are on the hunt for a man who broke into a house in Kuala Lumpur’s Gombak neighborhood early Sunday morning, and was captured moments later on CCTV, walking away from the burgled house with a handbag slung over his shoulder, wearing the clothes that he was born in.
That is to say, he was completely, and utterly, stark nekkid.
A Facebook user named Rahman originally posted about the incident that occurred at his mother’s house at 5:30am, on Sunday, shortly before she awoke for prayers. His mother went downstairs to discover that the back door to the home had been pried open.
Alerting her son, Rahman, who was staying with her, he then went outside to check. Although he saw no one, he posted that he could hear the sound of a person running away.
Inspecting the home’s CCTV footage, Rahman and his mother were shocked to find footage of a man walking away from the home, naked, with his mother’s handbag neatly over his shoulder.
Police were called and a report has been filed. Investigating officers found the handbag near the house, with all of its belongings inside.
They are now trying to identify the man, and whether he is mentally sound. Hopefully, he’s found some clothes.
