A man beaten by citizen vigilantes, who was accused of molesting a woman at an Alor Star shopping mall, has died. The 30-year old succumbed to the injuries inflicted on him by the mob.
The man was accused of molesting a woman in the public bathroom. He was in critical condition leading up to his death.

Four men and a woman have been arrested regarding the incident; citizen physical action is still a crime people, under Section 326 of the Penal Code for voluntarily causing hurt. The accused can now add Section 302, that deals with murder, to their charges.
