Man ambushed by gunmen on KL-Seremban highway

Malaysia seems to be turning into the Wild West these days.

A man was reportedly shot six times in his car by two suspects on a motorcycle while he was travelling on the KL-Seremban highway on Wednesday.

City police chief Datuk Amar Singh told The Star Online that the incident happened during rush hour, at around 8.15am.

“The victim was heading to his office in Damansara. There were four shots from the right side and two from the left side of the car. He sustained five shots, including two at the neck,” he was quoted as saying.

The victim, who works as a manager for massage chair brand Gintell, reportedly survived the shooting and was rushed to the Hospital Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia.

Amar told the news portal that the police are currently invesitigating the case.

Earlier this month, a businessman was shot dead by in broad daylight by two men on a motorcyle just after the Sungai Rasau toll plaza in Shah Alam.
