A male university student in Malaysia was recently captured on video attempting to take an upskirt photo of a female classmate.
The incident, which took place in a university located in Klang Valley, was recorded in a 22-second clip that showed the perpetrator wearing a light brown hoodie.
He entered a classroom and walked past several students before taking out his smartphone and positioning the camera under the skirt of the female student.
Another male student sitting behind the girl noticed the act and quickly stood up from his seat, yelling at the offender.
The male student then chased after the perpetrator and grabbed his phone from him.
The video also showed the perpetrator being confronted by other male classmates who demanded the password to his phone while grabbing his hands.
The perpetrator, fearing the others, dropped to his knees and confessed to the crime. While he was kneeling, other students dragged him, and a female student threatened to call the police.
It is not clear whether the perpetrator has been punished for his actions at the time of writing.
