Malaysian sex blogger couple Alvin Tan and Vivian Lee, better known as Alvivi, have split up.
A post written Jan. 1 on their Facebook page reads, “Alvivi is going to split soon. Thanks for following us, but this is the end. #Thatsit.”
Comments on the post continue to stream in, with some claiming it’s a shame they’ve broken up after all they’ve been through and others, dissing Tan for various decisions he’s made, including asking for exclusivity from his seemingly vodacious sex partner.
According to The Star, problems began when Tan found out his 24-year-old girlfriend had cheated on him with another man.
Reports say the 25-year-old once revealed it’s happened a few times and he’d been wanting to throw in the towel.
Tan was said to have uploaded a photo of the man Lee had been with on their Facebook page, after which he posted a photo of him and his lawyer friend Jane Tai with the caption “Replacement found”.
Both photos have since been removed and Tan later posted a lengthy message on the page explaining his friendship with Ms. Tai. The gist of the message: “I wish to clarify that Miss Jane Tai is an old friend of mine of whom I have great respect not only as a person but in her professional capacity. The picture that was posted was when a group of us went out for dinner . There is nothing between us at all and will never be.”
Plot twist: Vivian Lee was said to have apologised to Tan on her personal Facebook page, saying she was “very sorry for hurting (him), betraying (his) trust and letting (him) down”, but she also wrote in a comment on the couple’s page,”You guys must know that he cheated on me too. And that was during the exclusivity period and now he’s being the hypocrite here trying to play the moral card.”
Alvivi’s Tumblr blog, which sparked a furore for its distasteful sexual content and caused Alvin Tan to lose his NUS scholarship in 2012, has ceased to exist.
