In the bustling town of Shah Alam, where the streets are constantly filled with people rushing to and fro, there was a security guard at a local library who had a hidden talent that was waiting to be discovered.

In a viral video, the security guard showcased his musical talent on a piano.

The video, posted by user @g3nkhis on Apr. 13, features the guard playing a variety of melodies, including tracks from the movie Howl’s Moving Castle, Beethoven’s Für Elise, and SZA’s Kill Bill

Initially, the guard was shy upon noticing he was being recorded, but the recorder encouraged him to continue playing, resulting in a closer view of his performance. As of now, the TikTok has received over 28,000 likes and 528,000 views.

According to a comment from a family member, the security guard in question purportedly holds a degree in music. The comment, which may have come from the guard’s aunt, reads: “(He’s) a degree holder in music. To live, you need to eat, as long as you have a sincere source of income. All the best, abang ngah, I’m praying for you.”

Netizens were also impressed by the security guard’s modesty in displaying his musical talent and expressed their support for him.

One comment mentioned that those who possess piano-playing skills are usually intelligent individuals.

Another comment reflected on the guard’s profession as a security personnel, stating that the scope of one’s talents and capabilities cannot be solely defined by their occupation, and praised his proficiency in playing the piano, exclaiming “Ya Allah, (he’s) a security guard yet so adept at playing the piano!”
